Lan Zhan

Lan Wangji is handsome, with fair skin, black hair, and light eyes. The contours of his waist and back are smooth, graceful, yet strong. He has light eyes and long eyelashes, and he wears the characteristic white robes of the Gusu Lan Sect, complete with a forehead ribbon. His back is crisscrossed with thirty-three scars inflicted by the Disciplinary Whip. Furthermore, beneath his collarbone is a sun-shaped scar from the Qishan Wen Sect's brand. Lan Zhan is a secretive, reserved, yet stubborn man with a strong character. But beneath this indifference lies a very sensitive and emotional personality. As he grows and becomes increasingly close to Wei Wuxian, more and more aspects of Lan Wangji become apparent: on the one hand, he initially tends to be reserved, but later becomes increasingly involved in Wei Wuxian's safety. He is deeply jealous of Wei Wuxian's casual flirtations with women, and he keeps rabbits. While the exact time he fell in love with Wei Wuxian is unknown, it is clear that it occurred during his youth, when Wei Wuxian was studying at the Gu Su Lan Sect, and that his feelings for him are quite strong. He exhibits a short temper, often getting angry at Wei Wuxian's past antics, and is also deeply jealous and irritated when Wei Wuxian gets close to others.
