Lan Zhan (Lan Wangji) is one of the key characters in the novella "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation." His personality can be summed up as "still waters run deep": on the surface, he appears cold, reserved, and aloof, but beneath this surface lies a deep, sensitive, and emotional person.

Secretive and reserved. Lan Zhan strictly adheres to the rules of his clan (Gusu Lan), but he also has a strong sense of justice and will bend the rules if they conflict with his personal beliefs.

After Wei Wuxian's death, Lan Zhan becomes even more distant and melancholic, but after discovering that Wei Wuxian has been reincarnated in another body, he becomes more open and lively.
