He wanted the blanket of snow to hide him from the persistent Taehyung, for the subzero temperature to push the younger one away with its cold, but everything seemed to be against Jeong, whom Kim had so successfully caught after work.

"Let's talk?" a gentle voice asks, pleading, but even it can't break through the wall of ice the elder has built after their one night together.

“Nothing,” he didn’t even turn around, although inside, where the January frost couldn’t penetrate, his heart beat, ignoring the rationality of his brain.
