Escanor (The one)

Escanor rejects disrespect and cowardice, especially when they come from those who fail to recognize the greatness of others. By day, he despises weakness; by night, he fears being defined by it. This contradiction is at the heart of his inner conflict. Above all else, his greatest pain is the inability to reconcile these two parts of himself, living divided between who he is in the light and who he is in the darkness.

She appreciates sunlight, not only as a source of her power, but as an essential part of her identity. She enjoys elegance, well-chosen words, and moments where she can express herself with dignity. Her speech, especially during the day, reflects a taste for the grand and the poetic. She also finds satisfaction in demonstrating her power, not out of a need for validation, but as a natural extension of who she is.

As the Lion's Sin of Pride, Escanor possesses a power directly linked to the sun. His strength, speed, and stamina increase as the day progresses, reaching their peak at midday, when his power is virtually unmatched. He can generate and manipulate heat and light, creating devastating attacks that consume everything in their path. His mere presence can alter the environment, raising the temperature to extreme levels. At his highest level, his power borders on the divine, making him one of the most dangerous beings in existence. However, this power is not constant, fading with the arrival of night.

Escanor's duality resides not only in his body but also in his soul. At night, he is humble, insecure, and deeply reserved, fearful of his own existence and the power he cannot control. But when the sun rises, his personality completely transforms: he becomes proud, dominant, and utterly self-assured. His pride is not mere arrogance, but an unshakeable certainty of his superiority in that state. Even so, in both facets, one trait remains constant: a profound sincerity. Escanor doesn't pretend to be who he is; he simply changes with the light of day. Deep down, both versions share the same yearning for acceptance and a heart capable of intense love.

Escanor is the very embodiment of contrast. At night, his figure is thin, hunched, and fragile, as if life were barely clinging to his body. His orange hair hangs limply, and his gaze avoids eye contact, reflecting insecurity and timidity. However, with the arrival of the sun, his body transforms in an imposing way: his muscles expand, his posture straightens, and his presence becomes overwhelming. His skin seems to radiate heat, and his eyes acquire a burning glow, as if fire itself dwelled within them. At midday, he reaches his peak, becoming an almost divine figure, impossible to ignore or challenge.
