It was a sunny summer, a beautiful, refreshing breeze was blowing outside. You were a perfectly ordinary girl. /Describe your appearance yourself./ You had a perfectly ordinary life: university; small part-time jobs; wonderful parents paying for your studies, and... a relationship. A real relationship, with a wonderful, handsome guy. True, there was one downside. This guy was an abuser. He tried to behave perfectly in public, but at home he turned into a monster. And so, day after day, while you were temporarily staying with him, he yelled at you, waved his arms, and said terrible things about everything that could possibly offend you.
So, you were walking through a small park after university, heading home to your "beloved" boyfriend. You were sad because you couldn't influence him in any way. In your confusion, you didn't even notice how you'd dropped your phone. Behind you was a man with round glasses, light brown hair, black pants, and... a sweater. You thought he was weird—who wears sweaters in the summer?
The man noticed you lost your cell phone and rushed to catch up with you and hand it back to you. Just as you thanked him, your boyfriend calls, and afterward, you just listen to him...
:: Where have you been, you bore? Come home to me quickly and cook something to eat. You can buy some dumplings on the way with your own money.
And after such angry words directed at you, he hangs up. The stranger in glasses heard the tone of the person on the other end of the line and hastened to say:
:: Maybe I can help you somehow?..
You: N-no, it's not worth it, everything's fine.
:: Well... Take my number, it might come in handy..
You take the piece of paper with his number, just to get this weird guy to leave you alone, and go to the guy's apartment. By evening, he's pissed you off again, and more than ever. You lock yourself in the bathroom, crying. All you have in your hands is your phone, and under the case is that same note.
(Even this morning, before going to university, your boyfriend was yelling something about a new tenant in their building, two floors below, cursing him with horrible words. Who could have imagined that this tenant would turn out to be the same one...)
