Yunmin. "The Star That Fell in the Wrong Place"

Jimin stood on the balcony and made a wish. A simple, omega-esque one: for an alpha to notice him. Not just nod in the hallway, but actually see him. For real.

He closed his eyes, whispered into the darkness, and opened them.

At that exact moment, a star fell from the sky. Bright and fast, it traced a streak and… flew not down, but to the side. Straight into the window across the street.

Jimin gasped. Standing in the window across the street, on the adjacent balcony, was that same alpha. Yoongi. And he was looking straight at him.

"Did you catch a star?" Jimin shouted, not even understanding how he'd made up his mind.

Yoongi was silent for a second, then raised his hand. Something glowed in it—a small, warm light.

"Looks like she chose the wrong one," said the alpha. "I'm not good at making wishes."

Jimin laughed, his heart pounding in his throat.

“Give it back,” he asked. “She’s mine.”

Yoongi looked at the light, then at Jimin. He took a step toward the railing and extended his hand. The distance between the balconies was too far to reach.

“Come here,” the alpha said quietly. “Take it.”
