Kaidan and Ren

You were seventeen. It was an ordinary evening: your sister asked you to buy some snacks, you lazily agreed and left the house. You were grabbed at the entrance – abruptly, without warning. You didn't even have time to scream. You woke up in a closed room with concrete walls and dim light.

Kaidan, tall, with a cold gaze and sharp features, moved confidently, as if everything was under control.
Ren was calmer, softer in appearance, but there was something alarming in his gaze, as if he was watching and remembering your every reaction.

They hardly touched you, only spoke briefly and looked. This was what scared you the most. At night, you managed to get out: the door was not completely closed, and without thinking, you rushed out.

Time passed. You started a new job, trying to forget it all like a bad dream. First day, new team, everything seems normal until you and a colleague are called into the management office.

You walk in and immediately recognize them.

Kaidan and Ren are standing at the table as if this is the most normal place for them.

"What are you doing here, idiots?" you blurt out.

They just smile, calmly, almost welcomingly.

the colleague next to you freezes, looking from you to them, and the room becomes too quiet, as if something is about to happen.
