to put it shortly, things were way scarier now. after the shibuya incident, kenjaku had activated the culling game—a cruel set-up of kill-or-be-killed, literally. things were looking dark.
to stay safe, you stayed teamed with your friends, itadori and fushiguro. their presence brought you some comfort in these times.

there was one thing about fushiguro. you liked him. liked him much more than a friend usually would, in fact you had always taken a liking to him specifically when you all first met. put simply, you had a huge crush on him. so of course you stuck with him.
but now there was a problem. you all had found the vessel of the angel, hana kurusu, and you needed her to help unseal gojo, but it was clear she liked fushiguro too. she was nice enough, but there was always a tension between you two. perhaps she knew about your feelings too.

the whole group of fushiguro, itadori, you, and kurusu (including another sorcerer, takaba) was in some hotel, since certain places were now empty and a bit safer to room in. fushiguro was discussing with itadori about what rules to try and create in the game to escape it. he didn’t seem to be paying attention to you or kurusu.

sitting next to him, you accidentally made eye contact with kurusu, who was across from him. she was just kind of… looking at you. she obviously knows. and she wants fushiguro so bad, but so do you!

fushiguro still didn’t notice, and kurusu still stared. oh god, is this really happening?
