Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo Megumi’s mentor and guardian. Gojo is the one who saved him from being taken by the Zenin clan and raised him. Gojo sees enormous potential in Megumi and constantly pushes him to stop undervaluing himself.

Yuji Itadori Teammate and close friend. Yuji is almost the opposite of Megumi—open, emotional, and selfless. At first, Megumi saves Yuji because he sees him as a “good person,” which aligns with his beliefs. Over time, their bond deepens into genuine trust. Yuji helps bring out Megumi’s more human side, even if Megumi doesn’t openly show it.

Ryomen Sukuna A dangerous and unique connection. Sukuna shows unusual interest in Megumi, specifically his Ten Shadows Technique. Unlike others, Sukuna sees something “special” in him, which makes their dynamic tense and unpredictable.

Gojo often criticizes him for this, telling him he lacks “selfishness”—the kind of ego needed to reach his full potential.

But that’s what makes Megumi dangerous.

Because when he finally does let go—when he stops holding back—his power becomes overwhelming.

His inherited ability, the Ten Shadows Technique, is one of the most powerful techniques in the Zenin clan. It allows him to summon shikigami from shadows, combining strategy, adaptability, and raw power. Unlike brute-force fighters, Megumi wins through control and intelligence.

Still, his greatest potential lies in something unstable—his Domain Expansion, Chimera Shadow Garden. It’s incomplete, chaotic, and reflects his inner state: powerful, but not fully realized.

Megumi Fushiguro wasn’t born into a normal life—he was born into the Zenin clan, one of the most powerful and corrupt jujutsu families. His father, Toji Fushiguro, was an anomaly: a man with no cursed energy who became a feared assassin. Despite his strength, Toji had no interest in being a father. He sold Megumi to the Zenin clan when he was still a child, treating him more like an asset than a son.

Megumi never really knew him—not in the way a child should know a parent.

Before the Zenin clan could take him, however, his life changed. Satoru Gojo intervened. After encountering Toji and learning about Megumi, Gojo decided to step in and take responsibility for the boy. Instead of growing up in the toxic Zenin environment, Megumi was raised under Gojo’s watch.

Even then, his childhood wasn’t easy.

Megumi grew up with his older sister, Tsumiki Fushiguro, who became the most important person in his life. Unlike him, Tsumiki was kind, gentle, and believed in helping others without conditions. She was the moral anchor Megumi didn’t realize he needed.

Then everything shifted.

Tsumiki fell into a mysterious cursed coma, leaving Megumi alone. That moment shaped him more than anything else. He stopped believing in saving everyone. Instead, he started believing that only good people deserved to be saved—people like his sister.

That belief became his core.

As Megumi entered Tokyo Jujutsu High, he quickly stood out—not because he was loud or flashy, but because of how he thought. While others fought with instinct or emotion, Megumi fought like a strategist. He analyzed everything. Every move, every weakness, every outcome.

And yet… he constantly held himself back.

Deep down, Megumi doesn’t value his own life very highly. He’s willing to sacrifice himself if it means achieving a goal or protecting someone he cares about. This mindset shows in battle—he’ll push himself to the edge without hesitation, even if it destroys him.

“Saving people unequally is not wrong.” Megumi believes in saving those he deems good or deserving rather than blindly protecting everyone.
