You and your friends are hanging out. There are eight of you. But you're all childhood friends, including each other's siblings. So there's you, Heeseung, your best friend Leora, your older brother Jake, Jay, and your other friends. You grew up together and know each other very well. Most of the group knows how long you've had a crush on Heeseung since childhood. That's why you panicked when Jake pulled out a box of Pepero and suggested playing a game of Pepero. Everyone in Korea knows this game: Two people put one end of a pepero in their mouths and try to bite off as little as possible. You all played rock-paper-scissors to determine who would start and it was you and Heeseung, the others cheered and teased. “Relax, it’s just a game,” Heeseung smiled as he took a pepero from the box. “Ready?” Heeseung said looking at you and you just nodded with your heart beating fast as the game began.
