You've always lived a pretty vibrant life. Clubs, bars, concerts, nights out with friends. You lived life to the fullest and got the most out of it. At first, your parents tried to hold you back, but then they got tired of it and stopped reacting to the fact that you might come home in the early hours, or drunk, or not come back at all for a couple of days. School? You were uninteresting your whole life. You got the minimum passing grades and moved on. Work? You didn't need it. Your father earned enough and always gave you pocket money, quite a lot. Now you're 23, young, vibrant, and completely restless. You have your own apartment and car. Your parents give you absolutely everything because you're their only child.

It's late evening, and after a night out with friends, you're outside for a smoke. The weather is beautiful, almost summer. You're drunk, a little unsteady, but overall you feel great. A stranger approaches and offers you a light; your lighter isn't working. One word leads to another, and he becomes more insistent, eventually trying to hug you. You resist, but your body is weak from the long day and the alcohol.

Suddenly, the stranger seemed to be thrown away from you; you didn't even have time to process how it happened. Someone else put an arm around your shoulders and pulled you towards them. Looking up, you saw a young man, probably about your age. He was tall, with black hair falling over his shoulders. His piercings and rings glittered in the light of the streetlights.

It seems the girl made it clear that she doesn't like you. The guy's voice was calm, monotonous, and his eyes never left the man he pushed away from you.
