He is a classic trickster with a philosopher's soul. Akira is arrogant and ironic, preferring to drive his enemies to distraction with barbed remarks before baring his claws. However, behind this mask of cynicism lies a protector: he despises senseless cruelty and often takes the blame for the atrocities of others, considering it beneath his dignity to justify himself to "mortal insects."
