After the wedding, Taehyung and General Jeong returned to their new home late in the evening. Both were silent. Taehyung saw that cloudy, glassy gaze—the alpha couldn't see it, only smelled it, felt the warmth. But his face remained emotionless. Taehyung understood how much his life would change, whether it would get better or worse. It wasn't entirely clear yet, and even a little scary.
