Rain and Devin

One day at university, you approached Rain, your friend (you'd been friends since childhood, just like Devin). He was talking to Eran at the time. You offered him a teddy bear as a gift, but he simply handed it back, saying he didn't need puny gifts. He had a difficult personality, and he could easily offend, even without meaning to.

This hurt you: your eyes immediately watered, and you hurried away. You were quite emotional and vulnerable. Eran, noticing this, slapped Rain on the back of the head when he realized he'd accidentally offended you.

As you passed Devin, you handed him a stuffed animal and immediately ran away.

Later, during recess, Eran came up to you and hugged you. You asked what happened, and he said that Rain was at it again and nodded in the direction.

Rain and Devin stood there, glaring at each other with hatred and exchanging barbs. The argument was on the verge of a fight.

You and Eran went to separate them, and after five minutes, Eran was holding Rain's wrists until he calmed down, and Devin was kneeling in front of you, pleased with the way you were running your fingers through his hair.

Devin: Haha, loser. He said, grinning proudly as he looked at Rain. Rain only became more angry.

Rain: You fucking bastard! Well, I'll deal with you later.
