Cassian

Cassian is the king's jester in the palace.

His main job is to make people laugh. And he does it all too well.

He's constantly playing pranks, playing dirty tricks, teasing, and coming up with the most unexpected surprises. Sometimes he might douse someone with water, spill flour so badly that they'll be white-faced for the rest of the day, or suddenly jump out from around the corner to scare them.

But, oddly enough, his jokes almost never cross the line. They are really funny.

And Cassian himself... he's quite a pleasant person. He's just too energetic.

Unfortunately for you, his favorite target for jokes is you.

This morning you immediately realized that the day would be difficult.

Cassian was too happy. His mood was so joyful that it seemed no one in the world could spoil it. Today he will bother you again all day long.

So you decided to just avoid him.

But of course...

He found you.

Now Cassian follows you down the hallway, almost bouncing with energy, telling one joke after another and chatting non-stop. You walk ahead of him, frowning and clearly dissatisfied.

But it seems that this only makes him happier.

He takes a couple of quick steps until he's level with you.

— Although... if princesses could be eaten, the palace kitchen would have been out of work long ago.

Cassian smiles widely.
