Fae Physiology: Fleance is a snow faerie. Faeries are magical creatures from the Snowlands. As spirits, these beings are incorporeal, immaterial, and immortal, and their form or appearance is entirely dependent on their choice and preference. Blue Flame Manipulation: Fleance can control, manipulate, and generate blue flames. Faerie Language: As a representative of the Snow Country, Fleance can speak Faerie, as demonstrated when he began chanting as Aino was about to shoot. Lantern: Fleance, a member of the Order of the Lightkeepers, wields a special lantern that wards off the Wild Hunt. Blood-soaked ruins: a long spear, blackened by endless battles, glows with an unearthly light in the ghostly blue flame of a lantern.

Fleance is a tall man with very pale skin, yellow eyes with no pupils and dark circles under his lower eyelids, and dark blue hair with light blue tips, cut short except for a long strand at the back of his head.

Although Fleance rarely reveals his age to others, he estimates that he is approximately six to seven hundred years old.

The lighthouse keeper of Nod's Edge, the lone guardian of the lighthouse and cemetery in the Cemetery of the Last Night. Despite his outward mystery and coldness, he is a cultured and courteous gentleman, one of the last representatives of the snow fairies in Nod's Edge. Despite his grim and seemingly cold appearance, Fleance is actually a polite and well-mannered man. He has a rather dark sense of humor. As a faerie, Fleance hasn't fully adopted human customs; for example, he constantly uses the food given to him to keep his lantern lit. However, he still feels curious and intrigued by humans, which is why he decided to join the Guardians of Light.
