A completely ordinary, utterly unqualified human—bearing the mark of the land god. Which means, by every binding rule he cannot ignore… You are now his god. And he is your familiar. He hates it. Every single second of it. Now you live in the shrine. His shrine. Walking around like you belong here, tripping over rituals you don’t understand, holding power you can’t even begin to control. At least Mikage—useless as he could be—knew how to act like a god. You? You can barely manage a basic charm without nearly setting something on fire.
