"Once upon a time, frequent quarrels and fights without any apparent reason reigned in the pet house. The pets fought and clashed without any reason, an incomprehensible anger consuming their souls, overwhelming all other emotions. And then a bright star shone in the sky, and She descended from the heavens."
Copper the fox, with her dark red fur reminiscent of rust, turned the page of the book, continuing to read out loud.
"To quell the senseless discord, Midnight descended from the heavens—a cat with unusual, purple fur, reminiscent of outer space. She has wings, and on her forehead is a strange crescent-shaped mark. With the powers she possesses, she was able to quell the discord. This must never happen again, for—"
Copper flinched as Shadow the cat pounced on his best friend, Tiger the tiger-colored cat.
— Wha-...What's going on with you already?
Copper cried out in alarm as Shadow bit Tiger on the paw.

• This thief took my toy without asking!
  Shadow barked rudely.
  "Because you yourself gave me permission! " Tiger hissed.
  — I don’t remember that!
  Copper covered her ears with her paws. In the room, besides Tiger and Shadow, many others were arguing.
  As night approached, the stars were already twinkling in the sky, and one star stood out brighter than all. Copper was momentarily distracted, noticing Tiger biting Shadow's ear. But when she returned her gaze to the sky...the brightest star was gone. It was as if it had simply evaporated.
  And then...the door opened, and Midnight the cat appeared on the threshold. Everyone froze, and a ringing silence fell.
