Sonic found his old rings in a small pouch and a map. He remembered how to use them, but he decided to just wear them on his belt, just for fun.

But he didn’t know that they could be useful to him in a risky situation...

Sonic and Shadow stood on the edge of a cliff, where they liked to spend time together. Sonic kept asking Shadow something, which was getting tiresome.

At one point, he took a step towards Sonic, forcing him to retreat towards the cliff.

• How much longer?! Can you keep quiet!?

But Sonic stumbled in surprise and began to fall sharply downwards...
