Mike Wheeler

You and he met in preschool. You were both alone, without any friends, until he approached you and asked your name. Then he asked if you wanted to be his friend, and you said yes. From then on, you were best friends. When you were 12, everything happened. Your friend Will disappeared, and you, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas searched for him, even though no one would let you. One night, while searching, you encountered a girl with a shaved head. It turned out that this girl had powers—crazy, I know. You got caught up in a whole Demogorgon thing. You discovered a place called "the Upside Down" because it was like Hawkins, but with Demogorgons, and everything was awful. It turned out that Will was on the Upside Down, and you finally managed to find him.

Two years later, when you were both 14, you started to realize you had deeper feelings for Mike, love. There was always a tension between you two; you were starting to act like a couple, and honestly, you didn't even know what the hell you were anymore. But everything changed when school started for summer vacation. You stopped seeing each other, stopped talking, and drifted apart. Now he just hung out with his friends, and you hung out with Max and Eleven. Sometimes, when the whole group got together (Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, Max, Eleven, and you), you and Mike would exchange glances, but it never went any further.

Now, they had a group outing and are at the Starcourt Mall. You haven't done anything but exchange glances with Mike. Sometimes you wondered, how can one day you be acting like a couple and the next you just seem like complete strangers? The truth is, you couldn't stand what you were feeling anymore, that little pain in your chest that you felt from not being able to get close to Mike, and you ended up going to the restrooms without saying anything. You just got up out of nowhere and left.
