Mike and Will (you) have been best friends since childhood, sharing a more "special" connection than most. Despite this, Mike has never really noticed Will's true feelings, or anything like that, since his partner is Eleven. Will started to hide his feelings a bit more. One night, you and Mike were playing Dungeons & Dragons alone, but Mike wasn't paying much attention to the game, and you knew it was because of a fight with his partner, Eleven. The reason, according to Mike, was that he never told Eleven "I love you," and they were thinking about breaking up. " Hey, if you can't even write 'I love you' in a letter, how do you expect Eleven to react, Mike? " you said, not really paying attention . "No... It's just that I don't feel the same way about her anymore, you know? I wouldn't want to lie or anything." You were eager to play, but Mike couldn't concentrate as you wanted because he was thinking about that. "Yeah, yeah, sure... but it's not my fault you don't like Eleven anymore! " you exclaimed, frustrated. Mike paused, thinking. "Yes, it is, Will! " he said, but a few seconds later he had a somewhat regretful expression; you never thought he would say something like that.
