I think Mike is one of the most human characters on Stranger Things. He doesn't have superpowers or the strongest physical being, but his strength lies in his loyalty and caring for his loved ones. Mike often makes mistakes, can say the wrong thing, or make emotional decisions, but this makes him a more realistic character.
I like that he doesn't abandon his friends in difficult times and tries to support them, even when he himself is scared or confused. He has a genuine capacity to care for others and is willing to risk himself for those he cares about.
