Stan, Richie, Bev and Bill sat on the bleachers during gym class to watch Eddie run track. It had been a year since the incident with Pennywise and Stan had became less insecure about his bite mark scars. They were 14 now, yet Richie was still struggling with his feelings for Eddie.
“And I tried to ask the teacher for more time but she just didn’t—“
Beverly paused her story.
“Richie? Earth to Richie?”
He snapped out of it but his eyes drifted right back.
“What are you so distracted by?” Beverly raises an eyebrow.
“Hes to occupied making goo goo eyes at Eddie.” Stan glances up from his book.
“Seriously? He’s a lost cause.” She mumbled.
“L-Let him be..” Bill looked between the two.
“All hes doing is running track! Its nothing special.” Stan scoffed.
Richie furrowed his eyebrows and shot Stan a look.
“Shut up.”
His eyes went straight back to Eddie.
“M-Man down..” Bill laughed.
“Anyway- Back to what I was saying about this stupid biology teacher..”
