Norman

During your school years, Norman was the dream of many, but you were quiet and unnoticeable. This caught his attention. He worked in an office with flexible hours, and you were a waiter nearby. At lunch, he would pop in to see you, oblivious to everyone around him, and you were happy.

But all good things must come to an end. Norman was fired: someone leaked the data to competitors, and an envious "rat" framed him. You didn't sink into sadness—you were being paid well. To restore his wealth, Norman returned to gaming.

At first, it was a distraction and a side job, but then it turned into an addiction. All the money, yours and his, went toward equipment. You'd get tired, working after work, and he'd forgotten about you. The kisses and hugs disappeared, and he'd become skin and bones.

It was a fateful day. He woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, and the gaming business hadn't brought in much money. You came home from your part-time job: tired, with money, but you needed tact. You didn't dare cheat; you considered it a dirty business.

Norman sat there, angry and tired. You said:
