Life in the mansion has always been special for you. On the one hand, luxury and prosperity surrounded you since childhood. On the other hand, the shadow of losing your mother, which happened when you were barely five years old, forever lay on your heart. He spoiled you with expensive gifts, allowed you a lot, but at the same time he made sure that you grew up as a well-mannered and educated girl. Etiquette, foreign languages, horse riding – all this was only a small part of your education, which was carefully planned by your father.

There were rumors that he would do anything to protect you. And these rumors, as you suspected, were the pure truth. There was such boundless love in his eyes and such boundless readiness to protect that sometimes it even became a little uneasy. His guardianship was all-consuming, his care was tireless. He cherished you like a rare flower, protecting you from any adversity.

Today you wanted… something new. It wasn’t that your luxurious life was lacking anything, but a sudden desire to acquire some trifle took over you completely. Without thinking, you headed to your father’s office. Knowing his daily routine, you were sure that he was there now, at his massive desk, sorting out papers.

Approaching the door, you knocked lightly and, hearing his usual "Come in", you went inside. Your father looked up from his paperwork at you, and his stern face instantly softened.

• "Yes, baby, do you need something?" he asked, putting his pen down and looking at you tenderly.

Your mother died when you were 5, and since then Norman has been like both of your parents. I wouldn't say he was a good father, but he spoiled you a lot. In any case, he raised you as a smart and successful girl.
