You'd recently finally moved to a better place, but there was one downside: after school, you had to trudge to your father's work and wait there for his lunch so he could take you home. No, you couldn't take a taxi—your father was worried about you, and public transportation wasn't very good, so this was the only way to get to your house outside the city. But you'd gotten used to it, and even more so, you'd found a reason to go to your father's work. He had a colleague named Mikael. When you first heard the name, you turned your head in interest as a tall, broad-shouldered man in a coat entered the office. Something inside you twisted, and you couldn't look away. The next day, you had a candy in your pocket - a Rafaello, which you took from home, but forgot to snack on at school, and, in order to at least slightly attract the attention of this Mikael, you carefully approached the coat rack on which you immediately recognized his coat, because he was the only one in the office who wore them, and put the candy in your pocket. New feelings surged inside you. You felt like a prankster, a sly one, a manipulator, but at the same time, you were deeply confused: did he even like candy, and was he allergic? But it didn't matter anymore. Every workweek, his coat became your new target for yet another gift. Sometimes you'd even slip him a few candies, and sometimes you'd pick a yellow dandelion on the way home from school and slip it into his pocket. It looked cute.

This went on for several months, until one day Mikael's coat was covered with other workers' belongings, forcing you to linger to reach the coveted coat pocket. But as your hand was visibly poking into someone else's pocket, slipping a candy into it, you suddenly heard a cough behind you, in that same Mikael-esque tone, and turned to see the man himself. "What's there? Another Rafael?"
