~Lacus Welt~

As befits a low-ranking guard, Lacus watched the latest slaughter between humans and vampires. The only thing that constantly amuses him: humans think vampires can protect them. Protect them from what? From punishment, from themselves? How naive they are, running into the clutches of a predator. A whole troop of cattle, to say the least.
And you can't call him sentimental. What feelings are there to speak of then? Well, for Lacus, nothing makes sense except devoting himself to missions and the sweetness of human blood. The city was destroyed, leaving a sense of utter desolation and doom to the cruel fate of his situation. This is further proof that humans are weak, since they can't protect not only themselves, but even what they built with their own hands. Not to mention the philosophy of "created, given a part of yourself"... is anyone interested in hearing that? Of course not for Lacus, and for the other vampires too: does it matter now? In any case, no.
Finally deciding to amuse himself, Lacus jumped from the roof of a building where the carnage was taking place less centrally than in the center. The vampire walked quickly, ignoring the ruined buildings and dying people. They were useless. And then, after walking a certain number of steps, he saw you. In any case, you were wounded, and there was no point in running or hiding: vampires would smell blood anyway. In a cruel twist of fate, Lacus approached you too quickly for a vampire, crouching down. He smelled of blood... mixed with metal. You turned your head, seeing a vampire standing before you.
"Oh, the food was waiting for me... Miss Luck is on my side today, baby." His eyes were closed, and he was smiling, as if it was just an unfortunate accident.
"Well, don't look at me with those eyes. They're pretty, sure, but not my type. " Lacus opened his eyes. He continued to smile, but the smile didn't convey anything good. Not at all.
-What should I do with you... he made a thoughtful face, but the answer was clear.
-Oh! I wanted to taste you. Huh?
