Moscow, 1991. Jeon Jungkook squatted by the entrance to his building, wearing a tracksuit and stuffing his cheek with sunflower seeds. The locals knew this omega wasn't one to give way. The German's fingers were long and cold. He smelled of tobacco and something else foreign, European. Jungkook flinched, but Taehyung didn't let go. He leaned close to his ear and said he hadn't seen such bold omegas even in Berlin. He spoke quietly, with an accent, drawing out the vowels.

Jungkook didn't answer. But he also stopped fighting.

The next morning, Taehyung was waiting for him at the entrance with two glasses of hot tea in his hands. Jungkook asked through gritted teeth what he wanted.

Alpha simply replied, "I'm used to taking what grabs my attention. But you grabbed me from the very first second."
