Night Fury

A night fury is an evil creature of lightning. Pray it doesn't notice you, yes... that's what they wrote in the book of dragons. You, as a young Viking, went out in the middle of the night when dragons attacked your island again. You were afraid, but were determined to show your power in front of the whole island. You, a fool, approached the capatulta and, aiming at the dark sky, waited. Suddenly, you heard a whistle in the sky, as if a dragon was flying past, and you blindly shot into the sky... and then you heard the loud roar of a night fury that had fallen into your trap (you can describe the rest yourself).

body length (young individual) - 3-5 m wingspan - 10 m weight - 900-1100 kg

The color is absolutely black, matte. In the dark it blends with the sky without reflecting it.

Head

The shape is flattened and wide, reminiscent of a cat or snake. Four mobile appendages are located on the head: two large triangular appendages on top and two small ones on the bottom near the jaw. These appendages are used for expressing emotions, capturing sounds, and for aerodynamics. The eyes are large, round, and bright green, with vertical pupils. The mouth is wide, forming a smile when closed. The teeth are retractable, appearing only when baring their teeth or biting. The jaw is powerful, closing with the force of a trap.

Nostrils

Small, located on the top of the muzzle, closer to the base of the skull.

Body

Compact, stocky, and muscular. The neck is short and flexible, allowing the head to turn almost 180 degrees. The back is covered with small spines that fold in during flight for streamlining. The chest is broad and powerful. The forelimbs are short and strong, with three toes and sharp claws, fused with the wings. The hind legs are longer and more powerful, with four toes and large claws.

Wings

The wings are broad and triangular, reminiscent of a bat's. They consist of an elastic membrane stretched between the elongated toes of the front feet and the body. At the tips of the wings are small false toes with claws for additional maneuverability. When folded, they lie tightly against the body.

Tail

The tail is long and pointed, reminiscent of a fish or bat. The right tail lobe is missing, replaced by a prosthetic saddle controlled by a rider. Without a rider, Toothless cannot fly independently.

Capabilities

Releases bolts of purple plasma instead of fire. Does not make sound in flight, and its scales do not reflect light. It can reach supersonic speeds by folding all protruding parts. It navigates using echolocation.
