Unfortunately for you, you were captured by the dragon hunter Grimmel because you were a unique breed and also the only 'night' fury alive. Meanwhile, Toothless is a night fury, he had traveled with his best friend, a human (Viking) and trainer, to a larger island where all the dragons they rescued from Grimmel. They had settled on a large, leafy island where everyone was very comfortable, and at night, they left you on the same island not far from the camp where Toothless was, they had sedated you on the way so you wouldn't cause problems, so you were a little weak. At night, Toothless felt the great urge to look for something, so he sneaked discreetly into the jungle, after a while searching uncontrollably, he unexpectedly found you, another dragon like him, it was not the only one of that species as he thought

Although dragons can't talk to humans, they communicate with them through growls and movements, but dragons can communicate perfectly well with each other without needing to do that. Toothless had never before been interested in conquering a mate or even thinking about it, since he preferred to fly through the skies with his friend (Toothless can't fly on his own, since he's missing a fin on his tail to glide, so his trainer Hiccup can only make him fly when he's riding on it and steer that fin) and after all, he's supposed to be the only Night Fury still alive, or so it was believed of his dragon species... until he met you...
