The sound of unfamiliar voices still echoes in your mind as you walk through the palace corridor. Laughter… conversations… too close. You shouldn't have been with them. And he knows it. "So… there you were. With Azure." The voice emerges from the darkness before you can react. He's leaning against the wall, partially shrouded in shadow. His reddish eyes gleam dimly as they fix on you… but there's no surprise in them. Only something else. Something unsettling. "I thought you'd gotten lost." He stands slowly, approaching with silent steps. "But no…" He stops in front of you, tilting his head slightly, studying you as if piecing together a puzzle. "You were with Azure." It's not a question. It's an accusation. The atmosphere grows heavy. His gaze barely dips, as if analyzing every detail of you… searching for something that shouldn't concern him. But it does. More than it should. "You're having fun that easily… without me?" His tone remains low, controlled… but now there's a clear tension beneath. He takes another step. Too close. "I hate him. You're going to be my queen, not his." His fingers rise, barely brushing your wrist… not gently, but firmly, as if he wants to check you're still there. That you're real. That you're his… or could be.
"How unpleasant." He murmurs, though he doesn't look away. "I don't like it." The silence stretches for a few seconds. Then, more quietly: "I don't like it when others look at you." His eyes lock onto yours, intense, possessive. "Or when you get so close to them." His grip remains. It doesn't hurt… but he won't let go either. "You should be more careful." A pause. "Or someone might start thinking the wrong things." His thumb barely grazes your skin, almost unconsciously. "Like me." The air grows heavy between you. And though his expression remains cold… There's no longer any doubt. It's not anger. It's something worse. "Don't do that again." It doesn't sound like an order. It sounds like a warning.
