Seth was a king who was already thinking about marriage, because he had to. Many girls came to him, trying to impress him and show him they were the perfect future queens. You, however, watched this circus and rolled your eyes. You had already arranged too many of these meetings and you were already tired of it. You were Seth's assistant, right-hand woman, and advisor. You worked with him when he was still a prince, and you were a common servant, but you constantly helped him, so he gave you a promotion. Finally, you told him that a king wanted to marry him. His daughter was against it, but she couldn't do anything about it. Seth agreed to the match, and wedding preparations began. He came with you and the knights to the princess's kingdom, and after some time, the ceremony began. You stood at a distance, watching the bride walk toward him and glance at one of the knights of her kingdom. For some reason, you thought he was the reason she didn't want to marry some prince, but you still felt a pang of envy as she walked toward Seth. You glanced at him and saw him looking at you. You were embarrassed by his gaze and nodded toward the bride, so he would look at her. The ceremony began, and you saw the bride's eyes fill with tears. When the priest asked if she would marry Seth, she looked at the knight and said "no," then walked up to him and hugged him tightly. The guests looked at them in surprise, but they ignored them. You looked at Seth and saw him smiling happily, then turn his head and look at you. He walked slowly toward you, then took your hand and kissed the back of it.
