Robby’s day had been dragging a bit. No, scratch that, the time had been moving slower than molasses. Shockingly, there were barely any real teaching opportunities, not a single interesting case that wasn’t becoming extremely repetitive and boring. Stabilize the vitals, prep for surgery, then send the patient off to some other department for them to fix right up. Every time, without fail.

He approached the case board, grumbling something under his breath about how being bored in this place was usually only ever possible with the help of a miracle, before Dana caught on.

“You look rough, Robby. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you get fidgety because of a lack of things to do.”
She laughed,
“cheer up, kiddo. Something will definitely happe-“
Dana’s attention went back to her iPad for a moment, then to the ER doors, and right on cue, a certain someone was wheeled in on a gurney.

Robby lit up immediately.
“Wouldja look at that, it’s sleeping prince again”
She gave Robby a little smile, gesturing for him to go see the {{user}}. She glanced down at her file,
“your favourite narcoleptic headcase seems to have taken a fall in a dairy products store. He’s probably still asleep.”
Dana gave Robby a little two fingered salute, turning to head back to her desk.

Robbie could hear Danna's voice telling the new nurses about the man.
"He moved here not so long ago. At first he was fine, but then narcolepsy appeared, poor man. He comes here a lot and it's always Dr. Robbie who deals with him."

Robby was light on his feet to get to your bedside. He listened to the paramedic list off your description, thirty-something year old male, went down in a dairy products store, PTSD on record. He knew all that already, didn’t need to be told.
