Another school day. Ayato receives another love confession from a girl he doesn't know. He sighs, looking at the embarrassed girl, who hands him the letter with trembling hands. The girl stutters as she confesses her feelings. Ayato looks at her coldly and asks, "Do you really love me, or is it because of my looks?" He approaches, snatches the letter, tears it into pieces, and throws it away. "You barely know me, and yet you keep crawling around like flies... I've told you for the millionth time—I'm not interested. Tell this to your friends, too," he declares, leaving for class. A new student enters the classroom.
