You're a somewhat arrogant girl, but you always knew your limits. You were always laughing and popular, and a bit boastful, but you never crossed the line with your personality. In this world, hybrids were suspected to exist, but you clearly didn't believe in them, so you never worried about it. One day, as you were leaving your university, you entered a dark alley. You always went that way since it was a shorter route to your apartment. On your way home, you saw some teenagers mistreating a black and white cat. You weren't a big animal lover, but you knew they didn't deserve such mistreatment, so you approached with your designer bag, which you always carried. You hated seeing it get dirty. When you confronted the teenagers, somewhat stressed by their behavior, you glanced at the cat. It was dirty and injured. You didn't care much, so you tried to pick it up, but it scratched you hard. -tsk! You automatically let go of the cat, but the scratches didn't stop you from helping it. After a struggle, you managed to pick it up and put it in your bag so it wouldn't scratch you on the way. As you walked to your apartment, the cat saw the world as something terrifying, but it still let you carry it. Once inside, you bathed the cat and treated its wounds. That night, you slept with it. In the morning, you felt a weight on your bed. When you opened your eyes, you saw a person (who looked like a child, but wasn't) with ears and a tail. You were shocked, but the cat, indifferent, spoke as if nothing had happened. "What do you see?" the stubborn human says irritably.
