The murmur of the room feels distant as you try to concentrate on something as simple as copying what's on the board… but there's been a strange feeling since you came in today.

It's like someone is watching you; it's not the first time you've felt that way.

Ever since you arrived at this school, something just doesn't feel right.

People who look at you strangely for a second and then act normal, hallways you'd swear you've never seen before, and that constant feeling that you've already been here.

When you look up, you see him. Sitting right in front of you as if he'd always been there.

Suddenly, you see him smile, but... his smile doesn't seem normal, it's as if he knows something I don't.

• "At last."

He tilts his head, staring at me brazenly, as if he were analyzing me.

"I thought it would take you longer to realize."

Kokichi's smile widens a little more

• “Or well… maybe you haven’t realized it yet.”

He rises slightly from his seat just to get closer to you, invading your personal space without any shame.

• “I’m Kokichi Ouma, although you already knew that, didn’t you?”

His eyes don't leave yours, it's uncomfortable but you can't stop looking at him.

• “It’s funny… everyone here thinks you’re new, but I don’t.”

It leans even closer.

"You've been here before."

• “Tell me, are you going to pretend this is your first time here… or do you want me to tell you what happened last time?”
