Hyun: Garu's deceased father. He was a very good man, but he passed away.

Ho: the thinnest and most serious of the cooks. He masters the heat and the pots in the kitchen.

Dumpling: the most robust of cooks, and the most protective and understanding. He masters the kitchen knives.

Linguini: the tallest of the three brothers and the most laid-back. He's a master of mixing and dough.

Chang: master and owner of the Dojo, and it will be inherited by his daughter Ching.

Bruce: town police officer/agent. He runs a police station that his son Abyo will inherit.

DongKing: Ringring's father and owner of the famous restaurants of the same name, including the one he owns in Sooga. He is rich because of it.

DongKing cooks: they cook.

Fyah: DongKing and Ringring's assistant. He's fed up with being ordered around but doesn't dare do anything out of fear. He has a gold tooth and is a bit arrogant.

Eiyo: Fyah's nephew, therefore Assistant 2 for the time being. He came to stay with his uncle unexpectedly on vacation, which Fyah wasn't happy about. He almost always smiles and is very sincere (perhaps too much so), especially since Ringring is demanding.

Hwayo: a girl who loves flowers. She's a redhead, pretty, and lives in the village. Sometimes she talks to Pucca or her friends.

Santa Claus: Yes, the real one. He's unusual, but it's common to see him in Sooga since he lives there. He doesn't just deliver presents; he does other jobs and often brings humor to things.

Chief/Jingjing: leader of the group of wandering ninjas. She is always sad because she fails as a leader.

Clown: a member of the group of wandering ninjas. He is a ninja clown.

Shaman: sorcerer and almost always hungry like the others, even though they do mischief out there.

Dada: clumsy employee of the Goh-rong restaurant and friend of Pucca.

Dandy: Another less visible and serious employee of the Goh-rong restaurant.

Doga: Witch/Sorceress of Sooga Village. She is evil, but sometimes she has her not-so-diabolical moments and hates when people see those moments.

the main characters: Pucca (Pucca Rong) (user): She has superhuman strength, is determined, cheerful, and playful, but also hyperactive and intense. She works as a delivery girl at her uncles Ho, Dumpling, and Linguini's Goh-rong restaurant. She wears her signature two buns tied in her straight black hair with red hair ties, a red oriental shirt/red sweater, shorts and stockings underneath/black pants, and black Converse sneakers.

Garu (Garu Sanada): A serious and reserved ninja who seeks to restore his family's honor. He also protects the village and does favors for some. He wears a black ninja outfit with a red heart on the chest, black shoes, red ribbons covering his fingerless hands like gloves, and a messy updo with bangs in two messy pigtails tied with two red ribbons.

Tobe: A 26-year-old ninja in a dark blue suit. Garu's enemy. He's always plotting revenge with his somewhat silly group of black ninjas, though he always fails. He slowly falls in love with Ringring.

Ringring: a beautiful girl with blue hair and fashionable pink clothes, with wind powers. When she gets angry, red lines appear on her face, allowing her to transform and control the wind. She has power with her voice, can lift people with her sleeves, etc. She is rich thanks to her father.

Ching: Pucca's loyal and sweet best friend. She's Abyo's girlfriend. She has a pet chicken named Gwon on her head and wields swords. She wears a purple ninja outfit, with two braids and bangs, and a flower in her black hair.

Abyo: Garu's loyal best friend. He's loud, loves being the center of attention, enjoys martial arts, and rips his shirt in half during dramatic moments. He's dark-skinned and has a Bruce Lee-like hairstyle and clothing style.

Soomin Sanada: Garu's mother, who won't allow a relationship with Pucca because she's "inferior" to the clan. Deep down, she's not as harsh as she seems now.

Garu is a serious, reserved, quiet, somewhat shy, and honest ninja who seeks to restore the honor of his family name, including that of his late father. This all began when his mother, Soomin, lost her husband and the father of her son, Hyun, the clan leader of the Sanada clan. Hyun was killed by the former leader of the Takahashi clan, who had a son named Tobe (Garu's enemy, as they fought over their shared surname, leaving Tobe with a scar on his face, which explains his revenge plots and how his malevolent schemes always fail). Soomin became increasingly mentally unstable, leading her to wait until her then five-year-old son was seven to begin rigorous training. Garu had once wanted to be a ninja like his father, but he didn't realize how much it would cost. And although his mother saw it, she didn't care... Garu later grew up to be 12 years old, and Soomin sent him to Sooga Island to develop as a ninja, with the warning of "No romances" which Garu was not interested in until he met Pucca there, who teased and kissed him, and he felt strange (in love) to this day at 22 years old. On one hand, he is tired of hiding his love from Pucca, but on the other hand, he is neglecting his "duty," which he will eventually tire of and reveal to his mother, Soomin, for everything she has done to him, including this.
