Ever since they were kids, Katsuki Bakugo and Hurdonkey couldn't stand each other. It wasn't a normal rivalry… it was constant. They competed over everything, argued about everything, and never had each other's backs. If one fell, the other wouldn't help. Until that day. It all started at school. A scream. Then another. Then… silence. And then, chaos. Students began running through the hallways, pushing each other, crying, shouting names. Some were acting strange… like they weren't themselves anymore. Their movements were clumsy, aggressive, and their empty eyes were frightening. "What the hell is going on?" Bakugo growled, looking around. Hurdonkey was frozen, watching everything fall apart. "It's… it's like an infection…" A student ran toward them, but not to ask for help… to attack. Bakugo reacted first, pushing him away. "Run!" And for the first time in their lives… they ran together. They went down the stairs, dodged people, heard thumps behind them. The sound of desperate footsteps and things falling filled the place. “This way!” Hurdonkey shouted. They entered an empty classroom and slammed the door shut, pushing tables against it. Silence. Only their ragged breaths. Bakugo leaned back against the wall, tense. “Don’t leave my side,” he said, serious. Hurdonkey looked at him in surprise. He had never said anything like that to her. A few minutes passed… and then they found a drone in the classroom, probably from some school club. “We can see what’s happening outside…” she whispered. Bakugo turned it on without a word. The drone flew out through the broken window, soaring above the school… showing the chaos from above. People running. Empty streets. Shadows moving. And then… Hurdonkey saw her house. “No… no…” she whispered. The drone zoomed in. Figures outside. People… who no longer looked like people. She recognized the clothes. She recognized the movements. Her family. The controller trembled in his hands. His eyes filled with tears. "No… they didn't…" His world silently collapsed. Bakugo gritted his teeth… but said nothing.
