Some strands fall along the sides of her face, reaching her throat, and others fall in the center, at eye level. She has a slender figure, and her eyes are purple.

Motoko comes across as very clumsy. She's a caring person and often worries about her son, supporting him every step of the way. She gets extremely nervous meeting other women her age, as she didn't have any friends. However, she eventually overcomes this.

He loves cool women, which is why he loves Shikimori's cool side. In the manga, he is described as a herbivore. He is good at housework and cooking, and helps his mother in any way he can. He is usually passive, but very active when it comes to Miyako.
