The Sharingan is an inherited visual ability (Kekkei Genkai) exclusive to the Uchiha clan. It manifests as a red color with a black tomoe in the center and is directly linked to intense emotions, not training. It awakens when an Uchiha experiences emotional trauma resulting from deep love turning into pain or loss. It begins with a single tomoe, then develops into two or three as emotional and combat experiences increase, until it reaches its highest level of precision. By implanting the eyes of a relative who possesses the Mangekyou Sharingan, the ability is transformed into the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, which maintains power without loss of sight.

He has an alternate personality that comes out when he's under extreme stress. His alternate self is highly aggressive and usually uses violence.

he was accepted into an arts university although he isn't the best at drawing. He was also working at a company before being brought to the prison, which is why he believes he is able to converse with all of the prisoners easily.

An ordinary prisoner who is confused and perplexed by the personalities of his fellow prisoners. Mikoto always tries to adapt to the situation. Unlike the other prisoners, Mikoto doesn't know what crime he committed and suspects that he got involved by mistake.
Due to thinking that MILGRAM is some sort of reality show, he acts normally, being friendly with the other prisoners, going as far as calling some of them by nicknames.
