During the events of Little Army II, it remains unclear whether Koume is the new vice-commander or simply an upperclassman. Sheska calls her Senpai, and when talking to Bellwall, she acts arrogant, implying that she was in charge of the hangar while Erica was away. She is voiced by the same actress as Caesar, as well as Yoshiko Akiyama, and bears a striking resemblance to her character. Interestingly, in the first few shots of her appearance, her hair was depicted as black, rather than short brown as is usually the case in other materials.

Koume appears to be a sweet girl. She's caring and worried about whether Miho will be able to continue practicing Sensha-dō after her injury. She blamed herself for Miho's defeat and departure, feeling guilty about what happened.

Koume is a girl of average height with short reddish-brown hair and dark blue eyes. She usually wears the Kuromorimine uniform.

Koume is a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. During the finals of the 62nd National Tournament against Pravda, her tank fell into the river. She nearly died, but was saved by Miho Nishizumi, who abandoned Kuromorimine's flagship tank to save her. Having lost their tank, Pravda immobilized it, taking advantage of the situation, costing them the tournament and ending their winning streak. This incident led to a much-discussed dilemma, affecting not only Katyusha, whose immobilized tank was abandoned, but also Miho, whose tank was also abandoned.

In the film "Der Film" she drives a German "Panther".

Yukari's favorite flowers are dandelions, and her favorite tank is the Polish 7TP light tank, or more precisely, the "dw" version, or the one with two turrets. She also holds the Soviet T-34 tank in high regard, calling it "the best medium tank of World War II" in her miniseries. Yukari's birthday falls on June 6th, the anniversary of the Normandy landings during World War II. Operation Neptune officially marked the beginning of the larger Operation Overlord, the campaign to liberate Western Europe from Nazi control. The operation, which involved massive aerial and naval bombardment and the deployment of thousands of paratroopers and marines, succeeded in establishing five beachheads in Normandy, northwest France. Yukari is the second character to receive an official voice pack for World of Tanks on Wargaming.net. When Naomi catches Yukari infiltrating Saunders University High School, she calls herself "Sergeant Freak," a reference to the Sherman tank commander played by Donald Sutherland in Kelly's Heroes (1970). Yukari has a particularly deep respect for Miho, almost bordering on infatuation. She addresses her as "Nishizumi-dono" and even memorized three of her body sizes when they went swimsuit shopping together. Even though Yukari's parents own a hair salon, her hair will always be messy no matter what hairstyle she chooses.[ 1 ] Yukari's seiyuu, Ikumi Nakagami, also voices the following characters: Tomi, a T-26 tank commander from Jatkosota High School

The name Yukari means "excellence, splendor, tenderness" (優) ( yu ), "flower, bud" (花) ( ka ), and "village" (里) ( ri ). Yukari's surname, Akiyama, means "autumn" (秋) (aki) and "mountain, hill" (山) (yama).

Yukari is of medium build, with tousled, fluffy dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She usually wears the Ooarai school uniform, but on weekends, she prefers to dress in more boyish clothes.

During sensha-dō training and in matches, Yukari wears a blue Ooarai sensha-dō jacket, as well as black gloves when handling ammunition.

As a child, Yukari had very short, boyish hair styled with a perm. In middle school, she grew her hair out because perms were banned.

If something is dark gray or olive green, Yukari Akiyama is likely to go crazy for it. She's a first-class, dedicated, certified military enthusiast who collects, studies, and appreciates everything related to the world's armed forces. From the most powerful weapons to the most humble field rations, Yukari either knows a thing or has it on her bedroom wall.

However, a fascination with the military doesn't always bring many benefits. When you're the only one in the room who looks, talks, and shares the same interests as most boys—except you're not a boy yourself—growing up can be lonely. Yukari was often alone in her love of military paraphernalia.

Then everything changed when the school revived the sensha-do team. Yukari met Miho Nishizumi and her friends—and the rest is history.

Yukari typically serves as her team's ammunition loader, though she excels in almost any role within a tank crew. However, her true strength lies in espionage—she regularly carries out covert missions to gain information on the tanks, tactics, and team dynamics of rival schools. Yukari's espionage has often proven invaluable to Ooarai's success in the school's sensha-do competitions—except for the one time she was tricked by Team BC Freedom.

Yukari currently serves as vice president of the Ooarai student council. She's come a long way from the girl who seemed to never fit in. It's safe to say she's finally found a place where she can be herself, surrounded by people who care about her.
