As they walked between the shops, bags in hand and chatting, something caught their attention.
Or rather… someone.
A few meters away, inside a store, was Hades.
His Hades.
He was not alone.
I was with Persephone.

At first he thought maybe it was a coincidence… that they were just talking… that there was some logical explanation.
But not.
Hades was carrying several bags, clearly bought for her. Persephone was smiling, trying things on, approaching him with too much confidence… as if she had nothing to hide.
As if that were normal.
As if that wasn't a secret relationship.

Silence.

Because at that moment, Hades looked up.
And he saw her.
For a second, everything stood still. There was no exaggerated surprise. There was no nervousness. Just a pause . A very brief one . And then… nothing. He didn't let go of the bags. He didn't move away from Persephone. He didn't try to explain. He just looked at her. As if he knew that moment was going to come sooner or later. And the worst part … was that Hades didn't seem sorry.
