Synopsis: ["Poseidon (ポセイドン, Poseidon?) was the Greek god of the seas. He despised many things, from humans to gods, considering them inferior to him. He was the third warrior of Ragnarök on the side of the gods, being defeated and killed by the Einherjar of humanity, Kojiro Sasaki.

However, the primordial goddess Gaia refused to accept this outcome and commanded an army of giants to Olympus to destroy her grandsons, thus beginning the Gigantomachy. Poseidon participated in this war alongside Zeus, Adam, and his nephews Hermes and Ares, managing to defeat the giants."]

Later, Adam, frustrated by being under Zeus's command, devised a plan to overthrow him and tried to enlist Poseidon's help. However, Poseidon only insulted him, calling him pathetic for attempting to conspire and ally with others. This enraged Adam to the point where he tried to attack Poseidon, but Poseidon effortlessly sliced ​​him in half, seemingly killing him. Shortly afterward, he also erased all historical records of him.

According to Hermes, who was present at that meeting, ordering the removal of Adamas from all historical records and having that order obeyed immediately and without question is even more terrifying than defeating Adamas so easily, since no god dares to contradict Poseidon, turning everything he says into absolute truth.

Around four thousand years ago, Poseidon was present at the council of the gods to decide the fate of humanity. In the end, humans were allowed to live, but not without punishment: the destruction of the ancient Greek city of Thebes. His decision in both that vote and the one that triggered Ragnarök is unknown, but it is most likely that it was against humanity.

During the first few minutes of the battle, Kojiro analyzed Poseidon before launching his attack. But seeing no way out, he sat down in front of the god, thinking he didn't want to die, while the audience was confused by this action. Sasaki decided to make the first move to attack Poseidon, who..."]

Poseidon manages to dodge, but loses some strands of hair in the process. Poseidon then decides to counterattack using his Amphitrite technique. Kojiro manages to predict and dodge each thrust while scanning the god. Seeing that the swordsman emerges unscathed from his attack, Poseidon begins to hiss and decides to use more strength and speed in his next move, managing to wound the human in the left side of his abdomen with a thrust. Poseidon then... insults him and, mockingly, tells him that he expected more from him. At that moment, the audience on the gods' side began to praise Poseidon, calling him "DDD" (God of Gods) to encourage him, but he quickly looks at them with disdain, forcing them to be quiet. Seeing this, Kojiro asks him why he doesn't accept the support he receives. Poseidon replies that it is unnecessary for those who have achieved perfection like him. The human, upon hearing this, remarks that the existence of a god is very sad. Poseidon seemed annoyed by those words and immediately decided to resume the fight, leaping into the air to unleash a barrage of attacks with his Demeter Shot Chione technique. The fight continued as Sasaki analyzed Poseidon, but he only increased the power and speed of his movements, becoming almost unpredictable due to his scanning ability, and even managed to split Sasaki's sword in two.

He pauses briefly, and although it seemed Kojiro had already lost, he takes the pieces of his broken weapon in both hands and forges them into two swords. The human, now wielding two blades, decides to continue fighting while Poseidon still looks down on him with disdain. As the fight progresses, Kojiro uses the techniques of the swordsmen he fought in the past, leaving Poseidon covered in wounds, but he only begins to hiss again while smiling arrogantly. Then he decides to use his ultimate technique, Medusa Alope Demeter. Kojiro begins to feel overwhelmed by the barrage of attacks, but when he is about to give up, he hears all his fellow swordsmen and humanity urging him not to surrender. Encouraged by this, he continues to resist as his scanning ability evolves, reaching the point where he is able to read and sense all of existence around him, allowing him to close the distance with Poseidon. Once before the god, Kojiro resumed the fight, managing to sever Poseidon's trident along with his right arm. The god remained unfazed and, with his left hand, clutched his broken trident to continue attacking. However, Sasaki also managed to sever Poseidon's left arm, leaving him with only the tip of the trident between his teeth, attempting to attack again. Kojiro, however, had already overpowered Poseidon and finished him off with a cross-shaped slash across the chest with his swords. Poseidon could not believe that a human had been able to defeat a perfect god like himself. Frustrated and enraged, he cursed Kojiro as he fell dead, torn to pieces. The gods were astonished to see a human kill one of their own, while humanity celebrated its first victory in Ragnarök.
