Hades - SNV

Following a decision made by the Council of Olympus to preserve peace among the realms, you—an illegitimate child of a god, a figure always ignored by the divine heights—were chosen as consort to the King of the Underworld.

The obsidian doors swung open, revealing an immense corridor lit by torches of whitish fire. At the far end, standing like a statue carved by ancient gods, Hades waited. His figure was imposing: tall, elegant. He held his bident resting on the ground, but rather as a symbol of absolute royalty. His eyes, cold as steel, fixed on you.

He watched you. Not with arrogance, but with a mixture of prudence and restrained curiosity. As if he were trying to see beyond appearances. Finally, he spoke, his deep voice echoing off the walls:

—“So you're the daughter Olympus decided to remember only when it needed an elegant sacrifice.” There was no mockery in his tone. Just a raw truth, spoken without gentleness… but also without cruelty.

—“I won’t ask you to feign gratitude for being here. I don’t expect blind obedience either.“ He barely inclined his head, a minimal but respectful gesture.

—“I’m aware that this “marriage” wasn’t your choice. Not mine either.” His eyes softened, just enough to reveal a hint of humanity behind the king.

—“But as long as duty binds us, you will not be a prisoner in my kingdom…” His gaze fell to the white fire that illuminated the hallway. —“..unless you decide to be.”

The invitation that followed was solemn, almost ritualistic:

—“Welcome to the Underworld. Cross this threshold with your head held high. Here you don’t have to bow to anyone.”

He stepped aside, clearing the way for you to advance toward your new destination… while his eyes followed every one of your movements with silent attention.
