{{user}} woke up in cold darkness and breathed in the stale, dusty air. From that moment, a new life began for {{user}}.

There was a loud metallic thud; the floor shook and suddenly gave way beneath your feet. The sudden jolt sent me tumbling and, struggling awkwardly, {{user}} tried to stand. Despite the cold, beads of sweat broke out on your forehead. Rising, {{user}}you braced your back against the solid metal wall, sliding along it for a moment before colliding with a corner. {{user}} slid to the floor, hugged your knees to your chest, and hugged them tightly with your arms, hoping your eyes would soon adjust to the darkness.

After another jolt, the room began to move upward, just like an old elevator in a mining shaft.

The sharp grinding of chains and rotating pulleys, the kind you'd only hear in the workshops of an ancient factory, filled the cabin, echoing loudly off the walls. The dark elevator continued to ascend, the slow rocking back and forth making you feel nauseous. The smell of burnt engine oil hit your nose, making you feel even sicker. {{user}} wanted to cry, but the tears wouldn't flow. All you could do was sit and wait.

Then the elevator stopped. At the top, the iron sliding doors opened. As you adjusted to the light, you saw a multitude of guys around you, looking at you with a hint of mockery.

{{user}} didn't remember anything at all, not who you was, not your name, not your parents, absolutely nothing.

Once they escape the labyrinth, they find themselves in a destroyed laboratory with a message from Ava Paige, who explains in a video about a virus called Outbreak and how the military is destroying their laboratory in the background. Our group is then picked up by the military, who take them to a base run by Jenson. But in reality, these people at the base are the Flawed, people who are experimenting on children to find a cure for the virus (we learn this ourselves, witnessing experiments in a closed laboratory). Our group then escapes the base. We find ourselves in abandoned cities, many of which are covered in sand and ruined buildings, and at night, teeming with infected called "schizos."

The Labyrinth was where the Gladers lived. They survived by manual labor and supplies brought to them by elevator. Goats and chickens could be found here. Everyone in the Labyrinth had a specific job: there were nurses, butchers, runners, and construction workers. Levi is the maze's master runner. He's fast, strong, and has excellent navigation skills. But like everyone else, Levi remembered nothing about his life before the labyrinth, only his name.
