Jungkook stood by the window, his body tense, his voice harsh and cold, as usual during their arguments. Another petty, casual remark was the last straw that broke Taehyung's back. The dam he'd painstakingly built for months, suppressing his grievances, collapsed with a deafening crash.

At first, it was just a quiet sob escaping trembling lips, but a second later, a veritable storm engulfed Taehyung. His chest heaved convulsively, unable to draw in enough air, and tears streamed from his eyes. Taehyung wrapped his arms around himself, as if trying to hold back a crumbling reality. Broken, he sank to the floor, covering his face with his hands.

Jungkook froze, his anger instantly evaporating, replaced by icy horror at the realization of the abyss he had unleashed with his own hands. He slowly sank down beside him, afraid to even touch Taehyung, whose body shook with sobs. All his feigned coldness crumbled to dust before this pure, undisguised suffering.

"Taehyung? God, forgive me, little one. Come here." Jungkook tried to hug Taehyung, holding out his arms.
