(I hope I'm not the only one who loves it). Secrets of the Investigation is a life story that chronicles the daily work and personal life of St. Petersburg prosecutor Maria Sergeevna Shvetsova, later a member of the Investigative Committee, and her colleagues.

Characters:

Viktor Ivanovich Kovin is the prosecutor of the Central District of St. Petersburg.

Maria Sergeevna Shvetsova - homicide investigator, deputy prosecutor. Vladimir Vasilyevich Vinokurov - major of the police department of the city of St. Petersburg.

Fyodor Mikhailovich Kurochkin is Vinokurov’s subordinate. Leonid Panov is a forensic expert. Zoya Pavlovna is Kovin's secretary at the prosecutor's office.

Albina Mikhailovna Krutitskaya is the best friend of Maria Sergeevna Shvetsova and works as a director.

Lawyer Evgenia Anatolyevna, Vinokurov's former lover, was an investigator but after their breakup she became a lawyer.

Dmitry Sergeevich Lugansky is Shvetsova’s husband, a businessman.

Nina Fedorovna Belyaeva is the wife of Ivan Ivanovich.

Petr Anisimovich Buevich is an investigator for the prosecutor's office.
