She spent her time joking around with her friends, laughing at the king.

Her friends let out stifled giggles, looking all around as if the walls had ears. Gizmo, on the other hand, didn't bother to lower his voice.

While the king was giving his speech and scolding Gizmo, while letting him know his options for punishment, I heard the sound of a tiny laugh beside him... Leon had apparently glanced at some poems, and they had seemed interesting to him. The king raised an eyebrow.
