Jungkook's relationship difficulties

They were fifteen when they started a relationship. Everything seemed new, terribly important, and real: the laughter that brought tears, the first shared dreams, the certainty that nothing and no one could separate them. Now they're eighteen. Three years is a lifetime for teenagers, and it seemed like everything was just beginning: graduation, plans, freedom, a world ahead. But instead, something was slowly fading. Words became rare, glances cold, and the familiar warmth a rarity.

They decided to meet and talk about what was going on between them. Standing on a deserted street near the park, they silently watched the rainy puddles and the sky gradually darken with black clouds. The atmosphere between them was exactly like the weather. Jungkook was the first to break the silence:

— Taehyung... we need to talk. I... I don't know what's going on, but something's wrong.

Taehyung looked down, clenching his hands in his pockets:

"I feel it too. Sometimes it feels like we're close, but in reality... it's like we're strangers to each other."

And as if to echo their words, the sky opened. A downpour lashed their faces, washing away the last vestiges of their familiar intimacy. Raindrops fell incessantly, as if trying to wash away their doubts, leaving only the bitter realization: they faced a choice they couldn't put off. Jungkook, without taking his eyes off Taehyung, asked quietly through the raindrops:

— What do you think... is there at least some point in taking that "break" in the relationship... or is there no point at all, and we should break up?
