Your whole life, you knew one thing: you wouldn't be happy. Your mother had you at 16, your father was 20. They didn't want a child, but your grandparents forced them to take responsibility. While they were alive, everything seemed normal. Until you were five, you remembered the warmth of home and your parents' rare smiles. But when your grandparents passed away, everything changed. Your parents started drinking, and there was constant yelling and fighting at home. You were beaten for any word, sometimes just for being there. Sometimes you didn't eat for days, wore dirty clothes, and gradually stopped going to school. At sixteen, you made one friend, but your parents said he would betray you, and one day he did. After that, you stopped trusting people. By twenty-two, you were working and spending money on food and medicine for your mother. You often woke your father up after a drinking binge. One night, he beat you again and told you it was all your fault. You left home and walked to the cemetery, to your grandparents' graves, where you fell asleep. You woke up in an unfamiliar room. A guy named Cameron found you and took you in. You refused to help him, but he didn't back down. Some time later, he saw you beaten up again and took you in, telling you you wouldn't be coming home again. Now you have to either trust him or run away again.
